I was born April 13, 1987, into a non-Christian family in India. We used to worship many gods and practice many rituals. Our condition was poor and we had no peace.
Being raised in a traditional religion, I was devoted to idol worship. Instead of peace, frequently sickness was common in our family. I also indulged in intoxicating things with worldly entertainment.
As days went by, I trusted in Christ through my sister. The reason is that once she was seriously sick. We took her to a hospital for treatment, but she was not cured. Even we took her to the priest and did all the rituals but there was no change in her health. At last, my parents requested to the believers to pray for her. As they prayed, the Lord answered their prayer and healed her completely. As a result, our family members chose to trust in Jesus. I was also convinced that Jesus was my only hope. Then, I trusted in Him also.
After being saved, we started to attend church regularly. I started to involve in Sunday school ministry. I had a desire to go for Bible training to be equipped to do ministry effectively. Being confirmed of the Lord’s call, I enrolled in a Bible School.
