Dayshaun’s family lived the good life by all appearances. They had plenty of land and possessed hundreds of goats. In the villagers’ eyes, they were rich.

But when civil war broke out in Dayshaun’s country, living became difficult. The once wealthy man now had barely enough money to feed and take care of his wife and two children. Wondering how he would provide for his family, Dayshaun went for a walk hoping to find food. Instead, he found what looked like a bar of soap lying on the ground. He picked it up—and Dayshaun’s life changed forever.

The bar of soap exploded in Dayshaun’s hand, sending him on a journey of healing that eventually landed him at the feet of Jesus.
