Missionary Nilima

I was born December 17, 1993, into a nominal Christian family in India. When I was two months old, my mother passed away. Afterward, my father remarried another lady. Being grown up in a Christian family, I attended Sunday school and involved in all the church activities.

Growing up, I was fond of sports and spent more time in playing football. But then I could not play well and was ignored by my team. Due to this reason, I was depressed in my heart. Since then, I stopped attending all the spiritual activities of the church. Therefore, I did not have an intimate relationship with the Lord. Besides, I befriended bad company and involved in worldly pleasures. Though I enjoyed my life, I was not happy in my heart and lived a life without peace.

One day, I happened to attend a youth meeting in our church. During that time, the servant of God shared the Word. As I listened to the message, I was deeply touched in my heart and realized how sinful I was. I then confessed my sins and chose to trust in Jesus.

Gradually, I had a desire to serve the Lord. As I asked the Lord for His will in my life, He confirmed me of His calling. Thus, I enrolled in a Bible School.
