Toilet Provides Families with Privacy and Safety
Sakash Biraj and his family were blessed with a toilet through the generous support of people like you. He says, "This sanitation means a lot to me and my neighbours. I have a wife and children, and we will be using it, and I am happy for it. We do not have to dig the garden anymore, as we will be using this toilet. Our neighbours and my family—three families will be using this toilet."
Sakash's village previously had no sanitation facilities. Instead, families would go to bushes, rice paddy fields or the roadside to relieve themselves, and it was very difficult for little children or the elderly to walk long distances to use the bathroom. Because of financial difficulties, these families couldn't construct toilets, and they were not aware of the diseases that spread through the lack of proper sanitation. Thank you for helping provide the privacy and safety of a toilet for people like Sakash and his family.
