Saramma’s husband had left her. She felt abandoned. Alone. She also has a heart condition that could threaten her life.

So when she walked into the simple church building that Sunday, the warm welcome she received meant more than she could express.

As the service progressed, and as she was welcomed by the members, she found herself surrounded by people filled with the love of Jesus. Like so many others across Asia, Saramma found in this church a refuge—and a place that offers lasting hope for her life.

Pray with us that Saramma—and thousands of others like her—will see the churches as a place to turn to, a place to belong, and a place where they will find comfort, relief and eternal life through Jesus Christ.
