While she was suffering from intense pain, Junni never imagined how her stomach problem could result in the changed lives of so many people.
Junni, a Christian in North India, was unable to work or even walk because of her ongoing stomach problem. But in early November, a GFA World women's team visited Junni's church. Perhaps feeling more comfortable talking to the women about her health, after the service Junni asked them to pray for her illness. She felt some relief after about an hour and knew the Lord had heard their prayer.
Within two weeks, Junni rejoiced to realize that she was completely healed. With much joy, she shared her testimony with the church, and also informed the ladies' team members that the Lord had healed her through their prayers.
The story greatly impacted Junni's family, and all her unsaved family members received salvation as a result of the healing.
The effects of Junni's miracle reached farther than her home. The team members soon visited another church where they met Chunama, who had suffered for a long time from a severe headache. After hearing Junni's story, Chunama asked the women to pray for her, and she too was healed. Then, when the team members prayed for Thevani, who had a fever, she was healed and her entire family received salvation.
Praise the Lord for his healing of these three women! Pray for the women's team as they continue to minister, that more women will see the Lord's power and receive salvation—and that those who are saved will grow closer to Christ.
