A GFA leader addresses the crowd gathered to celebrate the opening of this new Bridge of Hope center in South Asia.
February 18 was a special day for one South Asian community as they celebrated the grand opening of a new Bridge of Hope center.
The local political leaders at the inauguration expressed their gratitude to GFA for starting the project in this town.
In this community of nearly 160,000 residents—of which about a fourth are children—life is hard. Most residents earn their living by working in factories or pulling rickshaws. Now 125 children are enrolled in the new Bridge of Hope center, where they will receive valuable academic instruction, health care and a warm, nutritious meal each school day. These children will also hear often about the love that Jesus has for them.
This new center joins many other Bridge of Hope centers like it scattered throughout South Asia, ministering in Jesus’ name to the needs of children and their families.
