When these graduates of GFA World's Nepal Girl's Bible College gathered for a seven-year reunion, it was more than just a social event. The 32 missionaries spent most of their time in training learning how they can better reach other Asian women.
Greeted with a cheerfully decorated welcome message when they arrived on January 13, the women, some of the first graduates of the college, rejoiced to see each other and expand their outreach abilities.
Lifting their hearts to the Lord, the ladies began each day of the week-long reunion with praise and worship.
In the seminars, the participants learned creative ways to reach the women in their villages. Here, a Women's Ministry leader shares ideas on how the missionaries can develop thriving Sunday School programs.
Listening intently, the missionaries took notes and shared ideas. Some of the other seminars included "Using Hygiene and Health Classes to Share the Gospel," "Christian Doctrine," "Women's Fellowship" and "Women in the Bible."
The women also took turns serving each other, and they even had time to fellowship while making their meals together.
Once they prepared the food, the ladies gathered outside to eat a picnic-style lunch.
To finish off the week, they celebrated by sharing their talents in a variety show. These ladies performed a cultural dance in their native dress.
The women rejoiced as they watched each other perform and shared testimonies of the Lord's power in their lives. They thanked Him for the encouragement and education they received at the reunion.
GFA missionaries are reaching ladies all over Asia through Women's Ministry. You can help strengthen this outreach by making your gift today.
