Gospel for Asia's Compassion Services is bringing Christ's love to the suffering and needy in very practical ways. GFA-supported missionaries and volunteers assist survivors of natural disasters by providing food, water, medical care, clothing and even shelter. Teams also minister to slum dwellers and leprosy patients in some of Asia's major cities. And all is done with a clear Gospel witness.

The main goal of our leprosy ministry is to share the love of Jesus and the hope of the Gospel with the victims of this disfiguring disease. At the same time, we seek to help them with the many needs and challenges they face in their personal lives, their families and their colonies.

Gospel for Asia’s Medical Ministry teams of trained nurses and doctors visit dozens of villages, and Bridge of Hope Centers, ministering to thousands of people each year, all in the name of the Great Physician—Jesus Christ.

Millions lead desperate lives in the slums of Asia. Our slum ministry is different from other outreaches because we deal with masses of desperate people who have no means whatsoever to better their situation or escape their surroundings. It takes tremendous self-sacrifice and patience on the part of our native missionaries to work among them, win their trust and show them Jesus' love. It also entails meeting urgent and often unique needs.

Much time has gone by since the hopes and dreams of millions were swept away in the Asian tsunami. But sustained by the faithful prayers and gifts of God's people like you, GFA Compassion Services continues to help rebuild shattered lives in the name of Jesus. As a result, thousands of traumatized men, women, and children have found new life and hope through Jesus Christ.
